Meet With The Instructor
Yonca Kurt is an award-winning educator and founder of Tech Study UK.
She has published four books, inspiring Students and Teachers alike. She published the Coding and Robotics books , “Maker Educator with Projects” and “Maker Student Education with Projects” and also a further two books to help teachers with distance learning, “Distance Education Must” and “Google Passwords in Education”.
In 2017, she and her students represented Turkey in the Canada Wide Science Fair. Two projects were completed which won two gold medals.
In 2019, she and her students again represented Turkey in the International RoboRAVE Competition in Poland, delivering a robotics project from which a third gold medal was achieved.
In 2017 and 2020, she was selected among the most successful female educators of the year in the Women’s Leaders of Technology Competition organized by Microsoft.
She attended programming training organized by Stanford University in 2014 and 2015.
She provides APCS-A, APCS-P, GCSE, A-Level Computer Science exam preparation lessons. She is also an official IB Teacher. She has taken part in an official IB trainer session in Berlin, in 2020.

The summer camp will take place on the beautiful and vibrant campus of the University of Surrey, located in Guildford, Surrey. Renowned for its academic excellence and picturesque surroundings, the University of Surrey provides the perfect environment for learning and innovation. The campus offers state-of-the-art facilities, including modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, and extensive outdoor spaces, all within a safe and welcoming community. Situated just a short distance from London, the location combines the tranquility of the English countryside with the convenience of easy access to the city, making it an ideal setting for our immersive and educational summer camp experience.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation for the summer camp will be provided in ensuite rooms at the University of Surrey’s student dormitories. These modern and comfortable rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom, are conveniently located within the campus, offering participants a safe and secure living environment. The ensuite rooms provide added privacy and comfort, ensuring that each student has their own space to relax and study. Additionally, the dormitories are well-equipped with essential amenities, including Wi-Fi, study areas, and communal spaces for socializing. Staying in these rooms allows students to fully immerse themselves in campus life, fostering a sense of community and making it easy to participate in all camp activities. The accommodation ensures a home-away-from-home experience, with 24/7 support available to meet the needs of all participants.Â
TRIPS
As part of our summer camp experience, students will have the opportunity to explore some of the UK’s most iconic cities. We will embark on exciting trips to London, Oxford, and Cambridge, where participants will immerse themselves in the rich history, culture, and academic prestige of these renowned locations. In London, students will visit famous landmarks, experience the vibrant atmosphere of the capital, and enjoy a scenic cruise to Big Ben and the London Eye. Our Oxford tour will offer a glimpse into the life of one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious universities, including visits to several locations where scenes from the Harry Potter movies were filmed. Similarly, the Cambridge trip will allow students to explore the beautiful colleges and scenic riverside that make this city so unique, with the added experience of a traditional punting tour along the picturesque River Cam. These trips are designed to be both educational and enjoyable, providing students with unforgettable experiences during their time at camp.

An initial payment of £500 should be made to secure your booking, and the final payment is due at least fifteen weeks before your summer camp starts.

Here is your step-by-step guide to making Tech Study UK your reality:
- Choose your programme,Â
- Review the important details:  Take a moment to carefully go through our terms and conditions.  By signing the application form your indicating your agreement. Make sure you understand the programme you are signing up to.
- Complete the booking form:Â Â Fill out our user-friendly online booking form, and don’t forget to inform us about any medical or dietary concerns we should be aware of. Â Safety is our top priority. Â When you book a place you will create a log in to our portal where you can go back and add information later.Â
- Reserve your place:  It’s time to make your initial payment of £500 to secure your spot.  This will be offset against your total fees.
- Request your visa letter: You can apply for your visa up to three months before the start of the course. We advise applying as early as possible. Â We will supply you with a letter to support your application.
- Book your travel arrangements:Â Book your flights and add the details to the portal. Â We want to make your arrival seamless so please check our requirements for airport transfers before making any arrangements.
- The countdown begins: Â Ten weeks before your course, its time to make your final payment. Â We’ll email you a reminder!
- Pack your bags: Make sure you’ve packed everything you need. Â And, of course, don’t leave home without your sense of adventure!
- You’re ready.
At Tech Study UK, we prioritise convenience and comfort for our students. As part of your all-inclusive package, we provide airport transfers from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Gatwick Airport on our published arrival and departure days. Once we receive your initial payment, you can request a visa support letter from us. We will email this letter to you without charge.

Even if you don’t need a visa, you still need to bring the required documents, such as confirmation of your place at tech Study UK and financial evidence to prove you have paid for your course, to show the border officer.
Visa Application Timing
If you do need a visa, you can apply for a Standard Visitor Visa up to three months before your planned travel date to the UK.
Visa processing typically takes about three weeks but you can check the guide processing times for specific information related to your country.  It is best to apply as soon as you can because we cannot refund fees because you do not receive your visa on time.

I started studying Python with Yonca teacher two months ago, I lacked most of the foundations and was looking to build up new foundations and master guided user interfaces on Python. I achieved these goals much faster than I expected with the help of her experience and incredible knowledge in Python.
